Desiccated liver supplements with the fewest additives
I originally made this page when there were very few dessicated liver products that both avoided excipients and provided information on the environment the cattle were raised in. There's now enough nice brands that I'll just suggest my best guess at a good choice for each price range:
Affordable suggestion
- silica-free / silicon-dioxide-free
- stearic acid-free / magnesium stearate-free
- guar gum-free
Desiccated beef liver powder (Argentina grass-fed), vegetable capsule (cellulose).
Nutrition info (values for iron, vitamin A, vitamin B12, and amino acid breakdown).
They also have a powder form that cuts costs by about 30%.

Desiccated liver (Bovine), BSE-free bovine gelatin (capsule). The liver is from US-raised, organic cattle that are raised on mother's milk from birth, then moved to no-grain pasture foraging when grown.
They also have a powder form that cuts costs by about 20%.

Desiccated liver (bovine), beef gelatin capsule. The liver is from a BSE-free New Zealand source with pasture access. It is non-defatted.
