Vitamin B12 supplements with the fewest additives
Vitamin B12 has many beneficial health effects, but many B12 supplements contain more than just the vitamin. For example, silica or silicon dioxide are often added to prevent caking, sodium benzoate or benzoic acid as a preservative, magnesium stearate or stearic acid for easier manufacturing, lecithin as an emulsifier, gums to bind ingredients together, and povidone as a binder.
I try to avoid these additives because they may have questionable health effects. If you want to do the same, my recommendations for the purest vitamin B12 supplements are:
